New Year, Same Me?

Yes I know it's far too late to be talking about new year's...

So, as you probably know (unless you've been living under a rock) we've recently said adios to 2018 and started 2019. I'm definitely the type of person to make wayyyyy too many new year's resolutions but as 2018 came to a close, I didn't have the same feeling.

Honestly, I liked myself in 2018. I'm not saying that to sound self centred and of course there's still things I'd change but I'm proud of the year I've had and I think it's ok to admit that.

The moment I realised this was when I was writing my 2018 Memories post and although I ended up ultimately not finishing blogmas, I really love this post because I love feeling nostalgic but it also helped me appreciate what I've achieved this year and to be honest at new year's 2018 I never could have imagined everything I've done.

So 2019, I hope you're just as good as 2018 was or maybe even better.

I know this was a kind of short post but I think it's important to talk about this stuff, especially in this age of social media where disliking yourself seems to be the norm and everything else is vanity or a big ego. We should be able to like who we are as a person, and I think that's a very important thing to remember.

Also I just want to let you know I deleted my old instagram account and made a new one. I wasn't happy with how my old one was so if you could give me a follow that would be amazing! I hope you all have a great 2019 and thank you so so so so so so so so so so much for reading!
